We will continue to run some of our online workshops and would love if you can help us grow our girl gang by passing this on to any teachers, students, club members, mums, grand mums, teen players or volunteers who may be interested in getting involved.

Miss-Hits is a fun starter programme designed by Judy Murray to introduce girls age 5-8 to tennis. The Miss-Hits are 6 animated characters who each represent a tennis shot. Faith Forehand and her gang will help girls to develop the skills needed to play tennis and will create a group of friends to play with. It’s a non-technical course so you don’t need to be a qualified coach to deliver it. Full of simple skill building activities and games. Perfect for teachers, students, mums, grandmothers, sports leaders, community workers and club members. Miss-Hits makes starter tennis delivery simple to do and fun to teach. The content also lends itself perfectly for teaching children and adults with special education needs (SEN).

Grow your business and attract more little girls into tennis by running Miss-Hits activity parties.
The Miss-Hits content is perfect for birthday parties for little girls! Pick out a few of your favourite activities and games and you have your party! You could make up party bags with Miss-Hits character magic symbol stickers (hearts for Valentina Volley or stars for Faith Forehand, balloons, or a chiffon square.
Remember to pop a little flyer in the party bags to advertise your next sessions! This could bring more little Miss-Hitters for you!
Behind the Scenes at Miss-Hits
All of our Miss-Hits characters have their own dance.
We used motion capture or mo-cap, a technology which blends real life and animation. We filmed a dancer, fitted with sensors, and then transferred the footage into computerised form!

WE HOPE THIS NEWSLETTER FINDS YOU ALL WELL AND READY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ESCAPE FROM LOCKDOWN, THE VACCINE AND THE SUNSHINE. IT'S BEEN A CHALLENGING YEAR FOR EVERYONE BUT IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE WE ARE BACK TO MISS-HITTING ALL AROUND THE WORLD!
We have been fortunate to have been able to adapt our Miss-Hits content into online workshops that have attracted audiences from so many different countries. Here's the next one Please pass on to any students, mums, club members, teachers or volunteers who may be interested in dipping their toes into the world of girls tennis. It's a 90 minute Zoom and everyone is welcome. All that's required is your enthusiasm - and a screen!
